Golf, especially for someone who hasn’t played in a while, can offer a lot of punishment and heart-break. Four or even five hours of that can lead to misery. But we can change that. We can show ex-golfers that there’s a lot of fun to be had if we approach the game a little differently.

You can become a ‘recruiter’. Why not set up a four ball with three friends who used to play the game? Then, don’t subject them to all the punishment that golf has to offer. Play a scramble from the front tees. You can get a few of your golfing mates and get them to invite ex-golfers and play a fun competition. Make it over just 9 holes. Whatever, but make it fun.
